2 Kings 15 / Ezekiel 5 / Luke 1 |

Blessed is she who has believed that what the Lord has said to her will be accomplished! This is one of the more important verses for the sons of God. Belief for them is unlike what anyone has taught them, because the humans don't, can't know about belief in the living God. They know about belief in their particular religious system, the institution they belong to which has created their own gods who act like they want them to—not belief as Jesus taught the disciples about belief, but a social institution with a contract of agreement, which becomes their faith (because the living God has not revealed Himself to them so all they have is what they can make up, and what they maintain is their contract of agreement between themselves—obeying the rules that the institution has established, and maintaining good standing because of that obedience to the other humans and the gods they have created. When that contract is broken, then something happens (they get pushed away). There are many such human systems that run throughout all levels of their culture. The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent. Belief according to the living yet secret God who is hidden from the humans (why the specific revealing must be done), can only come after that contact (the revelation of His secret purpose) has been made, otherwise a human's supposed devotion to God by becoming a member of one of the thousands of human religious groups is nothing more than his affiliation with any of the human groups created and maintained by them and for them. I will make you a ruin and a reproach among the nations around you, in the sight of all who pass by. You will be a reproach and a taunt, a warning and an object of horror to the nations around you when I inflict punishment on you in anger and in wrath and with stinging rebuke. I the LORD have spoken. When I shoot at you with my deadly and destructive arrows of famine, I will shoot to destroy you. I will bring more and more famine upon you and cut off your supply of food. I will send famine and wild beasts against you, and they will leave you childless. Plague and bloodshed will sweep through you, and I will bring the sword against you. I the LORD have spoken. The humans are inherently bad, not good. They aren't given over to a heart that naturally wants to know and follow the truth about God, but one that wants to go away from Him, as per their nature as independent, self-promoting survivalistic creatures. The hostile, vitriolic response of God in the Ezekiel reading, as He declares His plan for retribution on a people who couldn't care about him less than they were always prone to, says everything about the native nature of the humans in regards to God—the miserable devotion His people gave Him throughout Israel's history. The humans, individually first then collectively (if that association can help their individual agenda), always consider themselves the good ones—even though they are inherently bad and evil according to God, unable to please Him in any way because of that with which they are afflicted. They cannot recognize what evil is, where it comes from, why it was "put on" the humans, or how thoroughly it covers them. They are ignorant of it, as goes their nature and because of it. That is the irony of their condition, that they inherently think of and consider themselves good down at the fundamental levels of their miserable little heart, the place where they hold their most sacred truths about everything, when that very tendency is the thing that makes them utterly reprehensible to God because in the truest part of what they are they cannot ever love anyone or anything except their own course, agenda, dilemma, desires, hopes and aspirations. There in the temple of their own little meaningless existence, each one of them has their own little ark, which is the contents of their heart, where they keep and preserve what they truly love most. The nature of the humans across the board is opposite to what God would want to see in one of them, what He is pleased with. The different responses tells a lot about what God likes, versus what the humans usually default to—not being able to believe anything unless the experts say it's true, or unless it can be verified by other humans—unless other humans believe it. Zechariah was a priest, an old man, and should have been thoroughly mindful about the Abraham story, how God gave him a son in his old age. Zechariah asked the angel, "How can I be sure of this?" Zechariah was so used to the human way of the observable, he forgot from the preserved words about God that He was capable of doing anything. Zechariah fell back to the notion that only things he could verify with what he observed with his eyes were possible, that he couldn't believe the angel even though he stood right in front of him—that it could be something else, which is the human tendency to not believe. In the way of the mature, unbelieving human set in his way like an old dog, he asked for a sign that it would be true, to verify what the angel had said. His deafness served both purposes to shut him up so he couldn't ask for a sign, and as the genuine sign that he had asked for, in line with God's sense of irony and humor. When evening comes, you say, `It will be fair weather, for the sky is red,' and in the morning, `Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.' You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times. A wicked and adulterous generation looks for a miraculous sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah. What is the significance of the sign of Jonah? It shows who God is—not generic of for the masses, not for public consumption, not for anyone who just wants to get something from Him, thinking all they gotta do is the this or the that totally human prescription, developed and maintained by the humans in their silly religious institutions and they can get what their gods have to offer—goin' to heaven with aunt millie and poochie the dog, or being in the kingdom because they learned and adhered to the correct facts that the others don't know, totally lame in all cases because based on the same erroneous assumption. From backwoods hillbilly primitive christian to smug christadelphian intellectual, each group thinks that anyone can just get to God by doing something prescribed by humans i.e., follow the rules of their institution that they have reduced faith and belief to because it's that which with their gods (themselves) are happy. They cannot reach any further than the top of their little bubble of their own individual (person or collective group of persons who have agreed on the same prescription) existence, which is what their world of devotion to their gods can only ever be. This is established only for the sons' sake. It doesn't matter anyway about those groups or hurting their feelings because what's in them will *NEVER* let them hear our message, as per what they have decided to love and hold on to, protect with their lives because they are protecting their lives. I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Zechariah was an old human while Mary was a young girl, as young as 12 years old (the time a girl was usually given to a man). As far as the humans go she is still more like a little child than a mature human which is what God increasingly hates about them because they are set in the ways of the humans when they passover from child to adult. They therefore become more useless to God as they become more of what they love and celebrate amongst themselves (maturity), while they despise immaturity (what ironically God loves about them). They become unable to be innocent or vulnerable because they are already versed in protecting themselves in order to survive like all animals i.e., they're already totally submerged in the identity of surviving (loving themselves) so they are dead to God. It's fitting that the Messiah is left in the hands of a child. I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure. Why was/is it God's pleasure to do that? Why was it God's pleasure to hide Israel's Messiah, to make him nothing like the experts assumed and hoped he would be—to this very day? God loves to confound those who think they're wise and can figure out what's going on with His plan and purpose. In the case of the expected Messiah, the mature humans (esp. the religious leaders) expected him to be what they imagined, wanted and needed him to be (someone who would serve them by validating their evil suppositions about the secret and hidden God), and would therefore make them great, being the shepherds of Israel and all. Since the humans always think they're the ones who are good, the older and more mature they are, the more set in the ways of the humans they are too, so the more evil they are according to the living God. They on the other hand, not accidentally, think the opposite, that the older they become the wiser they are to everyone, including their gods. God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him. In our particular case, the "experts," the assumed shepherds of God's people, also thought they saw a thing happening which undermined their assumed control. The need to keep their little ones (their own DNA replicants, which are little copies of themselves and why they are driven to love them) safe from our "sinfulness" (not following their prescribed rules while they excuse themselves from having to follow the rules they claim to uphold). Because what God purposely did with us—He hit the nerve center of their family worshipping institution—ran contrary to their rules of behavior, they acted like the "good" humans who are responsible for protecting the God who set everything up, and exacted their penalty for our behavior by kicking us out of their beloved religious institution. According to God's irony and humor, He was/is actually initiating the most incredible thing the world, the revealing of the secret condition of the hidden sons of God which has been absent from the world ruled by the dead humans for thousands of years, since shortly after the darkness came. Ironically, not accidentally, what God is doing in us is the very thing they have been putting their hope and energy into for some time—thinking they need to, and can, get the world ready for their jesus' return (the one who likes them more than all the others because they know the correct facts). You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of hell as you are. Woe to you, blind guides! They just like the others can only act in human ways because that's what they are and all they know. So they busy themselves with their adaptation of the "lord's work," trying to persuade as many as possible to convert to their way of believing because they assume to "have the truth." Compared to all the other religious groups in the world claiming Jesus as their Lord, they do have a little truth, but they mix what they think they have with what they naturally are—human animals ruled by the nature that hates the living God, hostile to His truth like their fathers. They assume they can bring it all under their control to possess and distribute salvation as they see fit, whenever they can get a chance to do it in their spare time after they're done busying themselves with slaving for earthly treasures and running after the things that perish, excusing themselves all the while because they go to church every Sunday. In the process of exercising their human control over their religious institution, in the spirit of keeping their sheep safe from the sinners—of doing their lord's work—kicking the very God they claim to serve out from their midst, just as the shepherds of Israel did to Jesus and the other true sons of God in the first century. Because they're humans filled with the way of the humans and not the way of life—of the living God—they feel better, not worse about it. If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. Remember the words I spoke to you: `No servant is greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the One who sent me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin. Now, however, they have no excuse for their sin. He who hates me hates my Father as well. If I had not done among them what no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. But now they have seen these miracles, and yet they have hated both me and my Father. But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: `They hated me without reason.' Although it's hard to see it—because we're still filled with the nature of the self-protecting animal that is ignorant of the things our Father want to do with us—it was God's intention that the human leaders who had human control—whatever political power they possessed to banish, ostracize and kill whoever didn't agree with them—acted as they did. Our situation is just another true copy of that formula God has already established for His true sons in regards to the humans. By it they accomplished His will and desire—to make His people thoroughly separated from the rest of the humans who cannot do them good, but can only pollute them. His will was to live in the bodies of some of the humans, so that He could transform them from mature animals who naturally hate Him, into sons who love Him. If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me. And this happened for a little while, but then that started to break down as the mature animals—those who possessed the power to take control of what was good and turn it into something for their own gain (those who had the human power to banish, ostracize and kill whoever didn't agree with them)—took over what was good and set up the animal nature (that which is unclean, an abomination to God) in the true temple of God (the hearts of the bodies of the first century believers). At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end (of the new covenant, the condition of God's life dwelling in the bodies of humans) will come. That is the predicted abomination that caused the desolation of that phenomenon of God living in the bodies of His sons (Jeremiah's new covenant), which lasted for a short while then faded away. Slowly that truth was taken over by the humans, according to the dictates and cravings of their nature to not serve God but only themselves—the reason for God's intense hatred of and vindictive proclamations against His people in Ezekiel, because they were humans acting like humans always act. We can see the beginnings of the breaking down of what had just started in the Corinthians, as they were breaking off into their power groups like pack animals always do: I already gave you a warning when I was with you the second time. I now repeat it while absent: On my return I will not spare those who sinned earlier or any of the others, since you are demanding proof that Christ is speaking through me. The humans in Rome who allied themselves with the humans who had political control were the strongest of the groups that formed, what finally turned what had started with Paul into the machine that wiped all the other groups out by 4 or 5 hundred a.d., what later spawned throughout human history since, the entire landscape of all the humans who have ever called themselves "christian," because they're all based upon the same foundational lies that the whore firmly established. All this God allowed to happen; it is not as this was a mistake. Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test? The evidence of these beginnings in the writings of Paul makes the second letter to the Corinthians a pivotal book. The humans were taking over what was good and ordained by God, what Paul knew, with the ways of the humans, questioning Paul's authority because he didn't act human enough. They had already forgotten the miraculous things that the spirit did in their midst and were forming power coalitions and sects within the body of believers, which is one of the first substantial things he begins to speak against in the first letter—most like the reason he even wrote them. The desire for human control and power is the only reason to align one's self into groups and factions, and it's a built in to their nature to run after the things that are naturally in them, whatever comes by instinct, from the serpent who is always opposed to God. He will be a joy and delight to you, and many will rejoice because of his birth, for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. In the sight of God John was great. According to the humans he wasn't much except a tiny blot on their record of events of the great men who have lived. He made the paths straight for the good Son, and made some of the hearts in some of the humans ready to believe he was God's long-awaited Messiah, even though everything in human terms pointed to that not being the case. But God initiated His work first in them, and the proposition they faced was whether they could believe Jesus was God's Son, even though very few of the other humans would verify it by also believing (mass belief in the christianity with mythological origins didn't happen until much later, in its original form just the tiniest slice of humanity embraced it). That dilemma of being in the tiniest, hidden minority, is the same for all of God's sons because like their Father they are hidden. What God initiates in them isn't for public consumption or verification, but is the opposite of what the humans will want and be able to validate in the sons. While the Father is at work in them, they just appear on the outside as hopeless and detestable, which is the plan. God is not in the humans' religious institutions; He is hidden and comes to those He chooses, like Mary and Zechariah, Jesus and John, instead of any of the other expected humans in Israel at the time. He will be filled with the Holy Spirit even from birth. God isn't with the humans as they always assume, but against them. He's not in their society or culture, their clubs, organizations or their religious institutions. He isn't democratic or "fair," according to how they define it, which is always something in their favor (they are always the good ones). Whatever the humans despise and loathe, there He is more likely to be found that in what they celebrate and value. God loves the humble heart, not the arrogant one who needs to always be in control all the time. He loves the ignorant, vulnerable children, not the mature animals versed and set in, always running after the humans' ways. He has performed mighty deeds with his arm; he has scattered those who are proud in their inmost thoughts. He has brought down rulers from their thrones but has lifted up the humble. He has filled the hungry with good things but has sent the rich away empty. And you, my child, will be called a prophet of the Most High; for you will go on before the Lord to prepare the way for him, to give his people the knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins, because of the tender mercy of our God, by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven to shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace.
