To Titus, my true son in our common faith
To Timothy my true son in the faith

What was true about Timothy and Titus that Paul would call them true, even over his own flesh and blood children (whom he may have abandoned to follow the Christ who called him). That doesn't sit well with the human animals who put so much emphasis on the family. There are lots of community kudos one receives when he is a responsible father to his children, husband to his wife and son to his parents. Because the made up jesus has been deified for so long and the apostle Paul has been raised to almost that position by human religious folklore, there isn't a lot of emphasis put on the fact that Paul was most likely married since he was a pharisee, and very likely also ad children. The religious guys like to say that he must have been a widower because there is no mention of a wife, and their minds the good Paul would never leave his family to follow the Son's direction because the humans worship marriage and couldn't ever conceive of Paul leaving his family to follow a dead man named Jesus who Paul claimed was alive. What did Jesus say about who the members of his true family were?

While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him. Someone told him, "Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you."

He replied to him, "Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?" Pointing to his disciples, he said, "Here are my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother."

Paul considered his flesh and blood family dead to him because those were the words of the Son of God about his true family. Not Mary, James or Joseph or any of his flesh and blood brothers or sister, but those who were being called to be given ears to hear what he had to say, and eyes to see who he was and that the Father was living in him, and that he was the genuine article, from God, as promised by the holy prophets who were in the ground, but who also were his true brothers, each one chosen and called by the Father to be in His true family. They were all waiting in the ground to be remembered and either redeemed or not, according to the Son's choice to either follow the Father's way perfectly or become unclean by listening and obeying the animal who tried to sway him into following after it (going his own way like the first humans).

For the humans, the flesh and blood family is all there is and there isn't anything more than that, because that is the way of the animal who are bonded by the DNA that lives in them to bind them to each other and to the earth, where they will rest forever as they become one with it, a perfectly integral part of the ground they are melting into as their body slowly disintegrates into the organic matter it will forever remain.

The sons of God are called to another family that transcends the humans and what they can know and observe about their own families. The sons of God don't fit in to any flesh and blood families because they aren't real and don't last past their own body's failure to exist any longer and lose all of the consciousness which once convinced them that their family members were those who shared a common bond. Even though that bond cannot be seen (because it exists as DNA on a molecular level), it is nevertheless very strong and powerful.

He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.

However there is something much stronger for those who are called to become sons in the true family, which is a thing that was happening to humans in the first century. That was the knowledge of a calling that transcended the natural bonds that usually bind the humans together. The comprehension of the spirit of sonship as a thing revealed to the son, because it was being given to him. He was being called to become a son of the living God, not the son of another human who is bound to die sooner or later.

It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.

The type of DNA that was being put into the sons was unseen, just as human DNA is unseen. God's DNA though is lighter, thinner, purer and more perfect than that which is only seen under microscopes. It is pure because it's not made up of clunky old atomic material. It is real, but only to those to whom it is being revealed and given, the recipients of God's grace who have been chosen to receive it. They become aware of what the humans can only postulate about as they make up their theories they force themselves to believe because they want to have the ultimate animal prize. The thought of an ability to eternally survive forever is very appealing to the animal which spends its life looking for all kind of ways to survive, and getting all kind of things to build up around itself to insulate itself from the fact that it's alone and eventually going to die. All those things and people (family) around it means it never has to search for the truth about God, because it has all that stuff making it feel safe. The road that the sons must walk on is hard, because it means they have to be stripped of all those things and people which made them feel safe in the past (or still in the present in the case of the sons who are unwilling to let go of what makes them feel safe according to the teacher's counsel).

"If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him." By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.

The phenomenon of the spirit which lived in men's bodies was powerful yet hidden, not for man's purpose to get something from God, but for God's purpose to get something from the humans—His own family of sons who were chosen and called, and who responded to the calling by allowing themselves to be transformed into what they naturally don't want to be, because it's against everything in them to become the opposite of what they learned to become when they became mature animals who had to learn to protect themselves from the hostile world of predators and competitors. The spirit was the mechanism of the new covenant, the same way it had been the mechanism God used to talk to His OT era sons, whispering His truth to them in the special ears He had purposely given just to them.

Those who say "holy spirit" today (like they know what it is) are trying to get something for themselves—which is man's curse, always needing and trying to get for itself because it's eternally fearful and needy—to satisfy its endless cravings and needs, for its own gain, to survive a little longer and better. The humans aren't good by the definition of what's inside them to make them human, what comes out from them, what they are always compelled to follow. By nature they think they are good, which is what makes them unclean, no actual perspective about what's real according to God, only the temporary myths they make up to suit themselves, which goes on all day long in their pursuit to attain and remain in a state of satisfying their needs and appeasing their fears. New trends go in and out of fashion to create new cravings to satisfy, to make life worth living and build up a trendy defense wall they can hide behind. A constant stream of cravings that need to be recognized and fulfilled. Even if it's just the craving to feel good, right, accepted, okay, like things are going to work out fine for us and we're going to be safe and secure, to the need to be right and justified, and find an agreement with whatever seems good, the need to feel worthwhile and honorable, notable, and acceptable—they still just keep coming, and they have to be quenched.

At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy.

That is the animal condition. Separated from God because they are unclean and no way to just become clean by thinking correct facts about God or anything else. Just blown along by whatever wind of acceptance they can find to suit them and their needs and appease their great and many fears that live in them so they live behind their walls of defense. Just a bunch of scared little animals running around pretending to be civilized, and clean and acceptable to God because they think He feels the same way about them that they do, which is the great deception of the animal and another way they remain unclean—because they can't see what they are, so that they turn and become healed. They are too proud to see, but pride only comes from the fear living in them that compels them to hide. One of the many ways to hide is through the pride of their own self-delusions that they are something very special. But they only think that because they're compelled to think it, via the instincts that live in them that make them always want to survive, and the only reason they think it's worth surviving is because they feel they're so valuable. So it all works out,a nd that's a good description of human psychology in a nutshell, although there's nothing new about it.

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

There can be no actual love in the animals as long as fear still remains. They will generally not agree with this because they are trained to assume that no or very little fear actually lives in them. The animals learn at a very young age how to hide in their great and many fears by the walls of defense they create around themselves which acts like a kind of barrier between themselves and the hostile world they're living in, amongst the predators and competitors. The humans spend their entire lives afraid, trying to learn how to quell and quash all that fear down by things that can only ever be band-aids on the gaping wounds they suffer at the hands of other hostile animals. So they learn how to protect themselves along with all the others in the conspiracy they engage in with each other that their walls of defense are totally normal and there's nothing wrong with them, unless they challenge the conspiracy.

What is highly valued among men is detestable in God's sight.

As long as we remain connected to what the humans love, we will continue to keep running after the things the humans declare are valuable, and have taught us all our lives to do the same. We just follow along, going with the flow of the humans who dictate value, which plays perfectly into the cravings that are already in us to get for ourselves. Agreement, satisfaction, safety, and security are why the humans search for "love." Human love is always temporary. It comes and goes quickly because human love is for the purpose of being a copy of the truly better thing, what the Father wants from and for His own sons, the gathering up of which is the reason for this entire natural, temporary creation.

Much the same as all animals that are compelled by some chemicals within them to come together to mate, humans go under a kind of spell when they "fall in love." They find a certain high level of delight and satisfaction in that process of feeling accepted by another whom they consider valuable enough to keep satisfying that need to get and have for themselves. Unfortunately, that spell always wears off, as it was designed that way—to remain temporary because it's only ever a copy of the better thing. That phenomenon happens when the wall of fear comes down just a little bit, and before it goes back up.

Because humans merely have the animal nature, they are subjected to this thing called "love," against their will. It is a phenomenon about which many songs, books and movies are written. Because humans think they are so above all the other animals, they wouldn't ever admit that "falling in love" is merely a mechanism built in to the human condition as instinct, much the same as flying south is for birds—or more precisely being "in heat" is for most common animals. Another human love that seems to endure is the love we feel for our own flesh and blood, which is also another copy of the better thing—the way the Father feels about His own sons. The human version is conditional and temporary, and therefore always subject to failing.

No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day.

This is not a criticism of the humans for their sake; they will never hear the message about the kingdom anyway because it'll always just be an illusion to them. One cannot hear the word unless one is drawn to it and given the ability to comprehend that which is beyond this human, natural, temporary experience the humans call life, what we call temporarily existing until the body fails, then nothingness and no expectation of anything but being forgotten like every other piece of the natural creation—any blade of grass, cockroach or persimmon that ever came into existence then returned back into the earth like everything else.

Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart. For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. For,

"All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord stands forever." And this is the word that was preached to you.

Neither is it to satisfy that craving to be the one who's right, and has control over it; even though we're compelled to run after that because that need is strong and comes from within us, because it lives in us. We should have learned that it doesn't satisfy us. If we haven't, then there is more teaching to convince us in the place where we have to learn it to be transformed into something useful to the Father. As humans, being defined by what we love and run after, therefore remaining unclean and unable to be brought near to God so that we can begin to know Him, we cannot be pleasing or useful to Him. We just run around chasing after whatever's in our heart to satisfy that continual stream of needs and cravings like all animals spend their lives doing—a useless existence of self-fulfillment until that body is destroyed.

The question of what do we want to be—a mere human or a son of God—is a teaching that is another part of the process of the transformation. It's enlightenment followed by a choice. When we stop the hiding then we can know the terms and the choices and parameters involved. Until then, the MO of the animal is always just to hide and pretend that things aren't the way they are, and vice-versa. That much we can count on because we see how perfectly this creation has been set up to keep it away from God while He draws His family out of it. The way things and people remain true to their nature and instincts is something that endures, because the Father made it to be that way.

A human love that does seem to endure over time is the love of money. The humans never get tired of it, having more of it and running after it, because the accumulation of money is the most efficient way to build up a safety net around them in order to achieve their constant drive to feel safe and secure. I understand its allure because as one who possesses the animal instincts, I know how powerful it is to do that, to create that immediate, genuine feeling of safety and security inside me when I have it, and the opposite when I don't. That doesn't make me bad, it just declares my identity as a human with those instincts and drives like all the other animals to get, have, hold, possess, own contain, control, and have power over everything possible. Since I was old enough to cognize, its value has been drilled into my head so I have been thoroughly conditioned to believe that money has high value. That fact is reinforced everywhere I go, by everyone I meet, every magazine I read and program I watch. There is no question about its value to the humans, throughout all their generations.

The reason we continue to speak about this animal nature is because we know that it is the sinful nature, and that it is what keeps men from finding God's love, therefore it affects the sons in the same adverse way because we're all part of the same process of being kept away from our Father until we're washed, renewed and purified. We believe the identification of it is important because we have noticed that there is a wrong conception of what sin is—that it's something different than the animal nature. In that mode, some may be fooled into thinking they are living a life of righteousness before God when in reality they do not know Him (animals cannot know God, only sons can know God). The reason they cannot know God's love is because they are unable to see and to accept that they are merely animals, and animals cannot love God—they can only love themselves, and they do a perfect job of it because they're driven by powerful instincts to do that.

The sons may also be fooled by the lies that the "experts" are telling them, even what wears off from the fabric of the culture of human animals they have participated in all their lives. What they experience is the identification and acceptance of that nature in them so they can comprehend how strong it is, and realize how they are completely at its mercy to obey it, follow it, and allow it to dictate to them what they will search for. They also begin to know then accept that it must dissipate in them, if the life of the Father is to increase—if they are to get more of what they search for. That is the only way they will be able to know him, and the love of God that is found in him. If they want to just be humans, they don't have to do anything—everything will be taken care of.

To this John replied, "A man can receive only what is given him from heaven. You yourselves can testify that I said, 'I am not the Christ but am sent ahead of him.' The bride belongs to the bridegroom. The friend who attends the bridegroom waits and listens for him, and is full of joy when he hears the bridegroom's voice. That joy is mine, and it is now complete. He must become greater; I must become less.

"The one who comes from above is above all; the one who is from the earth belongs to the earth, and speaks as one from the earth. The one who comes from heaven is above all. He testifies to what he has seen and heard, but no one accepts his testimony. The man who has accepted it has certified that God is truthful.

For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the spirit without limit.

The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him" (the wrath of remaining an animal, retaining the sin nature, remaining polluted and unclean, unable to get close to God).

This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.
